Well there is no specific reason for writing this post. I just felt like giving the world (whoever is out there that cares enough to read) a brief update of my life.

First i can now proudly say that i have signed up for University and the classes begin on the 6th of October, two days after the elections. I feel all excited about it since i get to leave behind school and its problems (unfortunately the fun of it too) and im now headed into a new way of life.

In the meantime, my english classes began just the previous week and i already have an essay (i havent written a letter of complaint in ages! How am i supposed to remember how to write one now!?!) and so did my piano lessons (:

Hmm, also, my boyfriend is visiting in 3 weeks and although this should be filling me with some reasonable stress, i admit that running around trying to organise everything havent left time to think much about it…

And i ll finish with sthg that makes me really pissed off: Why on earth is it SO difficult to find a part time job? And in this point i have to ask, which do u think would be a good job for a university student with little free time? Are u in some University? Do u work at the same time?

Υπαρχουν διαφορα ειδη αγαπης. Σε εναν κοσμο που παει απ΄το κακο στο χειροτερο πρεπει να υπαρχουν διαφορα ειδη αγαπης. Η ευκαιριακη αγαπη, η αληθινη, η καλπικη, η αγαπη με ορους, η αγαπη που περιμενει ανταλλαγματα, η αγαπη που πληγωνει, η επιφανειακη, η μονοπλευρη..

Η πιο επικινδυνη και πιο σπανια απ’ ολες ομως ειναι η ανιδιοτελης αγαπη. Ιπποτικο καθως ακουγεται στην πραγματικοτητα, εαν η ανιδιοτελεια δεν προερχεται και απο τις δυο πλευρες, ειναι αυτοκαταστροφη. Οπως σε ολες τις περιπτωσεις ετσι και στην αγαπη η ανιδιοτελεια πληγωνει. Ο κοσμος μας δεν ειναι φτιαγμενος για να ανεχεται την ανιοδιοτελεια, ποσο μαλλον να την υποστηριζει. Για να υπαρχει ανιδιοτελεια δεν πρεπει να υπαρχει εγωισμος. Και ο εγωισμος στην ανθρωπινη φυση ειναι, στην καλυτερη περιπτωση, σαν το διοξειδιο του αν8ρακα στην ατμοσφαιρα: το οτι δεν το βλεπεις δεν σημαινει οτι δεν υπαρχει. Καποια στιγμη δε, θα σου δημιουργησει προβληματα. Στην χειροτερη περιπτωση ειναι σαν τις βροχες στην Αγγλια: τον βλεπεις θελοντας και μη, σε τακτα χρονικα διαστηματα και σε κανει και μουσκεμα.

Και αν εισαι η εξαιρεση στον κανονα και οντως μπορεις να αγαπησεις ανιδιοτελως, τοτε την εχεις πατησει ασχημα. Γιατι αυτη η αγαπη σε κανει να εθελοτυφλεις, να ελπιζεις σε κατι καλυτερο που τις περισσοτερες φορες δεν ερχεται ποτε. Σε κανει να πονας τον εαυτο σου για να μην πονεσεις καποιον αλλο. Πηγαινεις αυτο το βημα παραπερα, που σε αφηνει εξουθενωμενο απ’την προσπαθεια. Ξεχνας τα συναισθηματα σου, τα σπρωχνεις στο πισω του μυαλου σου μεχρι αυτα να σε κατακλυσουν…

Αξιζει αυτου του ειδους η αγαπη? Ακομα, μπορει η πραγματικη αγαπη να συνυπαρξει με τον εγωισμο?

Καθομαι και βλεπω το debate στη ΝΕΤ. 19 ετων και η πατριδα με καλει να σταυρωσω κι εγω μαζι με τους υπολοιπους ενηλικους με το δικαιωμα του εκλεγειν. Καθομαι λοιπον και ακουω και ακουω και ακουω…. Και τι ακουω? Εχουν βαλει ολοι τα καλα τους, εχουν μαθει το μαθημα και το αραδιαζουν. Μονο εμενα μου φαινονται τα περισσοτερα απο αυτα που λενε υποκριτικα? Δεν καταλαβαινω το ρολο του debate.. Εμενα σαν marketing μου φαινεται ολο αυτο.

Το πρωτο μερος με τις ερωτησεις των δημοσιογραφων μολις εληξε και μπορω να πω οτι δεν με ικανοποιησε. Καθ’ ολη τη διαρκεια ειχα αυτο το αισθημα του “καπου τα εχω ξανακουσει αυτα..”. Με ενοχλει που το μονο που προσπαθουν ειναι πως το κομμα τους θα φανει καλυτερο και δεν εστιαζουν σε λυσεις που ειναι πραγματικα υλοποιησιμες. Δεν θελω να μαθω κυριε τι εκανες εσυ καλυτερο η χειροτερο.. Ο λαος το εχει στο πετσι του. Τα λαθη της εκαστοτε κυβερνησης τα ξερει απο πρωτο χερι. Καλυτερα πειτε μας τι θα κανετε για διορθωσετε το μπαχαλο που κυριαρχει σε αυτη τη χωρα. Και επαναλαμβα: θελουμε λυσεις υλοποιησιμες. Τα ψεμματα και τις φαναφαρες εχουμε μαθει να τις ξεχωριζουμε πια.

Δευτερο μερος. Αυτο ειναι πιο ειλικρινες κατα τη γνωμη μου. Ο ενας κανει τα παντα για να στριμωξει τον αλλο το οποιο δεν ειναι απαραιτητα κακο, γιατι ετσι φαινονται οι απαντησεις που αξιζουν. Παρ’ ολα αυτα, κι εδω ακους τις βλακειες της ζωης σου. Καραντζαφερης και Τσιπρας τα δραματοποιουν ΤΟΣΟ πολυ που δεν μπορεις να παρακολουθησεις χωρις να διαολοστειλεις. Ειναι η φιλοσοφια της λαϊκής, “διαλεξτε τα δικα μου φρουτα, ειναι καλυτερα”.

Και τα τελευταια λεπτα ειναι η ωρα της διαφημισης. Τι να πω, τα λογια ειναι περιττα. Λες και ειμαστε ολοι ηλιθιοι και με το να μας λενε “σταυρωστε με σταυρωστε με” εμεις θα το κανουμε.. Δεν ειμαστε ολοι ετεροκατευθυνομενοι, κυριοι. Δεν χρειαζομαστε πλασιε, κυβερνηση και ηγετες χρειαζομαστε μπας και κανουμε αυτο τον τοπο καλυτερο.

As i was checking for new episodes of the series i watch non-stop (True Blood, Greek, 90210) my eye was caught by a promising title: The Vampire Diaries.

Now, it smells alot like Twilight in here but thats not necessarily bad. To be honest copying is one of the things that get on my nerves, but i have enjoyed the first two episodes of the new show. Stefan, one of the main characters of Vamp. Diaries tries SO badly to be like Twilight’s Edward that got alittle annoying at some point and the continuous, full of meaning, glances between the Stefan and Elena got alittle tiring, but other than that the show is pretty good. Although its claimed to be “edgier” than Twi, i dont think that really is the case. So if u like dark and edgie u better stick to True Blood <3.

Last night when i went to sleep it was raining. I just love the sound of rain, in the night. Its like a  lullaby.. The sound of raindrops hiting the ground, hiting the leaves. Is there a sound more precise?

Today that i woke up it was still raining. The weather is chilly but i dont mind. The air always feels so clean after the rain, even if u live in the middle of the city. Grey clouds that dont let the sun escape. But when the first rays pierce through them it feels like they flow through ur body, make u forget ur own grey sky and fill u with optimism. I love the rain. But it makes me miss things.. Things that i know i have to wait alot to find again. It makes me miss home.

I was just watching another episode of  ”Greek” and i was wondering about the whole sorority thing. It all seems so cool. Living in the same house, taking part in alot of activities and creating bonds.. It feels like a real university life.

Here we dont have this sort of things. I mean sure there are some student clubs but nothing compared to sororities and fraternities. I was just wondering though, is it as interesting and fun as it seems on the show?

Hmm do u have those kinds of stuff where u live? Do u belong in any sorority/fraternity? How is it like? (:

Ειμαι σιγουρη οτι ολοι εχουμε αυτη τη μικρη φωνουλα μεσα μας που πολλες φορες τεινουμε να καταπνιγουμε γιατι μας λεει πραγματα που δεν μας αρεσουν. Ειδικα αν τα επιπεδα εγωισμου και ανωριμοτητας μας ειναι υψηλα αυτη η φωνουλα για μας δεν ειναι παρα ενα ενοχλητικο ζουζουνισμα.

Ποιος ομως ειπε οτι αυτη η φωνουλα δεν λεει αλη8ειες? Ποσες φορες εχουμε κανει λαθη απλα και μονο επειδη την αγνοησαμε? Πες για παραδειγμα ρε παιδι μου οτι εισαι σε μια σχεση που βλεπεις οτι δεν τραβαει για διαφορους λογους. Εσυ τυφλωμενος απο ερωτα και καψουρα αρνεισαι κατηγορηματικα οτι κατι παει στραβα.. Η φωνουλα υπομονετικα και με επιχειρηματα σου το εξηγει, εσυ αντιδρας λες και σου λεει τη μεγαλυτερη βλασφημια, η φωνουλα υποχωρει και επιστρεφει οταν τρως απογοητευση. Και ρωταω εγω τωρα… Οσοι εχουν τη γαμημενη φωνουλα, που αλλοι λενε συνειδηση και αλλοι ενστικτο, γιατι δεν την ακουνε ΠΟΤΕ!? ΠΟΤΕ ομως? Αντι αυτου πανε και κουτουλανε. Και οχι μονο κουτουλανε αλλα μετα τρωνε στη μαπα και το “Στα ‘λεγα μαλακα” της φωνουλας.

So its a fact! Im starting university in about a month. Ive been searching for universities abroad but after i thought better through things i decided to attend this one here and get my Bachelor, since the department i have been accepted in offers a good education and alot of choices concerning work and then go abroad for Master (hopefully accompanied by my boyfriend). So the university i decided to attend (and was accepted) was the Athens University of Economics & Business, Department of Informatics. Haha sounds long xD

Btw have i told u guys ive started learning Norwegian? My boyfriend’s very proud of me haha. xD

I havent writen a blog for more than a month but this post is really urgent. I have a very serious decision ahead of me and i want all the help i can get.

Is there any good university in Europe (except for Greece) to study engineering or science?  Im especially interested in Norway and Sweden but any info would be of great help. Its very important so please take the time to reply in a comment.

Oh my, the previous entry was so pessimistic xD well i wanted to delete it but whatever we all get low sometimes ^^ the important thing is that now im all excited!

To start with, i took the theoritical test for my drivers licence and i passed wiiiii! I had NO wrong answers yaay xD so now i have to give the practical thingy too and hopefully get my licence after that.

These days are all about trips! I just got back from a trip at Kalavryta. It was the second time i visited the place (the first was a looooong time ago) and i guess i fell in love with it all over again ^^. Kalavryta is an amazing destination, especially during winter (offers alot of winter sports). Surrounded by mountains, everything about it is naturally beautiful. Kalavryta (lol it feels like im promoting it xD) offers alot of things to do. It is a place of historical importance for the Greeks. During my stay there i visited alot of places and heard alot of stories. Greece is a country that has suffered alot of wars so hearing all those things about the past made me feel proud to be Greek ^^.

From the Monastery of Aghia Lavra and the Mega Spilaio, to the local bars and cafeterias, i tried to see, learn and have fun to the fullest. I mean thats what trips are about right? ^^
